5-6 cloves of garlic
2 or 3 scallions
1 large onion
1 large bell pepper
Olive oil (any oil may be substitued)
1 can of blackeyed peas
Cover the bottom of the pot with oil. Not too much, just cover the bottom.
Sauté the garlic, onion, scallions, and bell pepper is olive oil
Cool this until the onions are all limp and brown
Add the blackeyed peas
Cook until all done. 10-15 minutes will do
